About Fire Training

The Kings County Fire Department strives to maintain a highly trained professional and volunteer firefighting force.  The Department maintains a cadre of State certified instructors who teach Fire Control, Firefighter Survival, Rapid Intervention, Hazardous Materials, First Aid, CPR and Emergency Medical Technician skills to our staff.  Our instructors can be found teaching throughout the State and at the local colleges where their knowledge and skills are passed on to the next generation of the fire service.
