Kings County Fire Department protects a county with a population of approximately 153,000 residents. We respond to an approximate 1,392 square mile region through a combination of 3 divisions,10 fire stations, and 1 headquarters office with 92  full time employees. Within our Divisions of Fire Prevention, Operations & Training, and OES our goal is to serve our communities with the best in fire protection and offer a professional and dedicated emergency management when citizens of Kings County call upon us for help. Kings County Fire Department primarily serves the rural areas of our county and provides contractual services to the Cities of Avenal and Corcoran, and our OES serves the entire County and provides support to its cities and special districts. Kings County Fire Department looks forward to maintaining that reputation and providing continued service to the citizens of the County of Kings.
