Household Hazardous Waste collection events are held on the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at our facility.

NO commercial waste accepted.

Kings County Residents can dispose of unused medications and SHARPS containers at local disposal sites.

No liquid or lotion type of medication will be accepted.  For those items contact the pharmacy that issued for best disposal practice or call KWRA for our next Household Hazardous Waste collection day.

Prescriptions can either be left in its original container (remove label with personal information) or you can simple empty them all into a baggie.
