The Welfare-To- Work Program is designed to assist eligible Cal Works clients in becoming self-sufficient. WTW offers a variety of services to move participants from assistance to self -sufficiency.While clients are participating in the WTW Program; Childcare, Transportation and Work Related Expenses are provided.
Activities and Other Services Provided are:
- Job Search Classes
- Vocational Assessments
- Vocational Training/ College Course Work
- High School Diploma / GED Classes
- Subsidized Employment Opportunities
- Work Experience
- Domestic Violence Assistance and Referrals
- Mental Health Counseling Services
- Alcohol and Drug Counseling and Treatment Referrals.
- Family Stabilization Services
