Scott grew up in Hot Springs, South Dakota, joining the Navy on Delayed Entry and arriving at basic training three days after graduating from high school.  Scott deployed seven times during his 30 year career in the military; four of which were to the Persian Gulf, with two being in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.  He served as Command Master Chief for Fighter Squadron Two at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia.  In July 2003, he moved to Lemoore, where he served as Command Master Chief for Strike Fighter Squadron 2, Commander Strike Fighter Wing Pacific, Strike Fighter Squadron 125 and Strike Fighter Squadron 122.  Scott retired from the Navy in 2011.

While on active duty, Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. He came to work for Kings County as the Deputy Public Guardian and Veterans Service Officer in February 2014. Scott is married to Judy. They have five sons, three of whom live in California and two in South Dakota. In his free time, Scott enjoys sport shooting, golf and traveling with his wife.

Codi grew up in Modesto, California, joining the Navy on the Delayed Entry Program and arrived at basic training shortly after graduation from high school. Codi served as a Hospital Corpsman and was stationed at Naval Hospital Oak Harbor in Whidbey Island, Washington and Naval Health Clinic in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

After her years in the Navy, Codi earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration in Management from California Coast University. She came to work for Kings County as a Public Guardian Technician in August 2012, promoted to Deputy Public Guardian in July 2013, and to Deputy Public Guardian/Veterans Service Officer in July 2016. Codi and her husband, Kyle, share 3 school age kids together. In her free time, Codi enjoys attending her kids multiple extracurricular activities and spending time with her family.

Alexander Nava

Alex grew up in California’s Inland Empire, joining the Navy in 1999. Alex served as a Signalman on the USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) home ported in San Diego, where he met his wife Aida shortly after. In 2003 Alex served oversees at Naval Air Facility Atsugi Japan and then in 2004 made his way back home to California being stationed at NAS Lemoore, CA with VFA-146 Blue Diamonds as a newly cross rated Aviation Structural Mechanic. He served there as an Airframes collateral duty inspector and night shift supervisor. Alex has deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in 2000 and 2007.

Alex separated from the Navy in 2009, has worked as an HVAC mechanic, and has served as a Spanish translator/teacher in Colombia S.A. 
Alex earned his Bachelors of Science in Business from University of Phoenix in 2018 and in 2019 decided to step away from the maintenance field and began working as a Veterans Service Representative. Alex and Aida have two girls and two boys. Alex enjoys soccer (futbol), spending time with his family, serving at Calvary Hanford, traveling, and doing missions work. 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mary-Ann Ramelb

Mary-Ann grew up in the Philippines and immigrated to Western Australia in 1992. In 1997, she met her husband, Adriano, who was on a port visit with USS Independence (CV-62). Mary-Ann and Adriano have been married since 1999 and have three children.

A temp job as a contractor on base in 2002 turned into a passion for serving the military community. Mary-Ann has volunteered with the Navy, Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) and the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC), both at NAS Jacksonville, FL and NAS Lemoore, CA. She has also worked for a service-provider on US NAF Atsugi, Japan, for 10 years, prior to their PCS to NAS Lemoore in 2014.

Mary-Ann came to work with us in January 2016 as an Office Assistant. She was hired as a Veterans Service Representative in January 2022. She hopes to work for the Department of Veterans Affairs in the future, travelling overseas to serve the OCONUS community.

Andrew Krikorian

  Andrew was born and raised in Costa Mesa, CA. He joined the US Marines in 2008 and was assigned to the 03 infantry field. After training, he served as a 0311 infantryman with 1st battalion 6th marines, 2nd marine division, Charlie company, stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Both of his deployments were to Marjah, Afghanistan in the Helmend Province during Operation Enduring Freedom. His first was in 2009-2010 during the "Battle for Marjah" or Operation Moshtarak as a saw gunner duel point-man. Andrew's second deployment was a continuation of the first where  he served as a point-man/team leader, before separating from the Marines in 2012.

  After marrying his wife, they moved to her hometown of Hanford in 2017. Andrew then worked on obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California (2019), as well as his Associates degree in the Administration of Justice/Corrections (2021). Andrew started working for Kings County as a Juvenile Corrections Officer with the probation department before transferring to the Veterans Services Office in 2022.

  Along with his wife, he shares his life with his 2 daughters, enjoys family time, volunteering and attending Glad Tidings Church, martial arts, and taking his motorcycle out.
