1. County of Kings Avenal Cutoff Road FDR Project:

• Avenal Cutoff Road Reconstruction project – Closure from Laurel Avenue to Jackson Avenue August 19, 2024, to approximately November 8, 2024. Laurel Avenue, 21st Avenue and Jackson Avenue being used as detour.

• September 30, October 1, October 14, and October 15, 2024 – Full closure of the Avenal Cutoff Road and State Route 198 interchange (including all on and off ramps). Jackson Avenue @ Avenal Cutoff Rd will not be accessible during these 4 days.

2. City of Avenal AVCR Project: 

• Full road closure from Plymouth Avenue to Nevada Avenue. Closure timeframe from September 9, 2024, to approximately October 8, 2024 (according to City of Avenal project construction schedule). Plymouth Avenue, 30th Avenue and Jayne Avenue being used as detour.  

3. Nevada Ave:

• Full road closure from State Route 41 to 30th Avenue. Closure timeframe from September 23, 2024, to approximately October 18, 2024. Detour from SR 41 to Omaha Avenue to 30th Avenue. 

4. High Speed Rail (HSR) road closure & other road closures 

• Hanford Armona Road full closure from Highway 43 to 7th Avenue.
• Orange Avenue full closure 5th Avenue to bypass east of 5th Avenue.
• Waukena Avenue partial daily closure from 5th Avenue to bypass east of 5th Avenue. 
• Lacey Blvd full closure from Highway 43 to 7th Avenue.
• 7th Road full closure from 7th Avenue to west dead end.
• Fargo Avenue full closure from 7th Avenue to 8 ½ Avenue (closure anticipated to start September 30, 2024).
