SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT - CITIZEN’S ADVISORY BOARD

Purpose and Objectives

The purpose of this Board is to facilitate public input relating to actions and decisions of the Unified Air Basis Authority (UABA) and to assist in effectuating the purposes of the joint powers agreement entered into between the Air Pollution Control Districts of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tulare Counties on January 16, 1990.

Membership Composition

The CAC consists of twenty-four (24) primary and twenty-four (24) alternate members. There is one (1) unpaid representative each for the Industry/Ag, Environmental and City interest groups in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tulare counties.
