Purpose and Objectives

The function of the Board of Trustees is to operate and maintain a County Law Library.

Membership Composition

The Law Library Board of Trustees shall be composed of seven (7) members: 
• The Chairman of the Board of Supervisors unless they decline to serve in which case the Board of Supervisors shall appoint one of its members or a member of the bar from County Counsel
• The Board of Supervisors shall appoint additional members who are members of the bar to constitute a seven (7) member board
• Each Judge of the Superior Court shall serve or may appoint trustees, two (2) judges shall be elected by the judges of the Justice Courts
