The Kings County Treasurer's office provides banking and investment services for the County departments, school districts, and affiliated government agencies.  The safekeeping of these assets requires proper receipt of all monies deposited in Treasury, maintenance of accurate accounting records, cash flow projects to meet liquidity, and the daily investing of monies in our portfolio.  While the County Treasurer seeks the highest possible return on their investments, our primary objective is to ensure the security of investments and maintain sufficient liquidity to meet the financial needs of all treasury pool participants.  Responsibilities also include issuance of short-term debt on behalf of the County and the school districts.
