The Elections Department lobby will remain closed to the public until further notice.

Candidates wishing to file for office must complete and submit a Candidate Documents Request to: Elections@CountyofKings.com. Elections Staff will process the request and a County of Kings Candidate Packet will be sent to the email address provided on the document request. Your County of Kings Candidate Packet will include the following forms: Declaration of Candidacy documents, Ballot Designation Worksheet, and FPPC Form 700.

Once all forms are completed, call the Elections Department to schedule an appointment to finalize your candidacy.
