CONSENT CALENDAR A.County Counsel: 1.Consider authorizing County Counsel to sign the conflict waiver consent form with Best, Best & Krieger for representation of the Mid-Kings River Groundwater Sustainability Agency. B.Fire Department: 1.a.Consider authorizing the Fire Department to donate 82 expired fire coats to Mexicali Fire Department; b.Authorize the Fire Department to donate 99 expired fire pants to Mexicali Fire Department; c.Approve the Agreement retroactively effective from September 10, 2024. C.Probation Department: 1.Consider approving the Application for Discharge from Accountability for the collection of delinquent court-ordered criminal fines, fees, penalties, and assessments. D.Public Health Department: 1.Consider approving the Agreement with Samuel Merritt University to provide student internship placements in the Department of Public Health effective October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2027 with automatic one-year extensions until terminated by either party. 2.a.Consider adopting a Resolution authorizing the acceptance of the grant monies from the County Medical Services Program, Local Indigent Care Needs program grant; b.Approve the Agreement with County Medical Services Program for the Local Indigent Care Needs program grant effective October 1, 2024 through November 30, 2028; c.Allocate 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent Program Specialist in Budget Unit 416000 to support the Local Indigent Care Needs program. 3.Consider approving the Agreement with the County of Fresno for temporary reciprocal Health Officer coverage effective December 1, 2024 through November 30, 2027 with two optional one-year extensions, with no renumeration. E.Public Works Department: 1.Consider approving the Notice of Completion for the Tract 931 Jackson Ranch Land Development Improvement Project to provide notice to interested parties that the work has been completed and release partial security bonds. 2.Consider approving the Notice of Completion for the Kettleman City – State Route 41 Pedestrian Crossing & Pathway Improvements Project. 3.Consider approving the first amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with O’Dell Engineering, Inc., for the Highway Safety Improvement Program Cycle 11 Roadway project. 4.Consider adopting a Resolution certifying the County’s maintained road mileage for calendar year 2023.
