FINAL BUDGET HEARINGS A.Administration – Kyria Martinez 1.a.Overview of the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Proposed Budget and Final Budget changes; b.Department budget reviews. IV.10:00 AM PUBLIC HEARING A.Administration – Kyria Martinez/Veronica Mello 1.Conduct a Public Hearing to receive testimony on the Development Impact Fees, which includes a construction schedule of public facilities and a proposed adjustment to the fees; 2.Adopt a Resolution approving the new construction schedule and an annual inflationary increase in the County’s impact fees; 3.Select one of the following options in relation to adjusting the Development Impact Fees: a.Adjust the Development Impact Fee amounts based on the annual average in the Engineering News-Record Construction Cost Index, having the new fees become effective October 25, 2024; b.Implementation of the Nexus Study at the maximum fee justified; c.Adopt no fee increase – impact fees will remain at October 10, 2022 levels. 10:00 AM PUBLIC HEARING B.Administration – Kyria Martinez/Matthew Boyett 1.Conduct a Public Hearing to receive testimony regarding a realignment fund transfer; 2.Find that a transfer of realignment funds is the most cost-effective use of available resources to maximize client outcomes; 3.Approve the 10% transfer of realignment revenues deposited into the Public Health Realignment Trust to be directed to the Social Services Trust account for Fiscal Year 2024-25; 4.Approve the 10% transfer of the realignment revenues deposited into the Behavioral Health Realignment Trust to be directed to the Social Services Trust account for Fiscal Year 2024-25.
