B.County Counsel : 1.Consider approving the advanced step hire of Anadelia Dominguez as a Deputy County Counsel I at Salary Range 234.0, Step 5. C.Elections Department: 1.a.Consider approving a budget adjustment for the Elections Department for the administration of a Special General Election for Congressional District 20; b.Adopt the budget change. (4/5 vote required) D.Public Works Department: 1.Consider Adopt a Resolution containing the projects planned to be constructed in Fiscal Year 2024-25 utilizing Senate Bill 1 Funding. E.Administration: 1.Consider denying the Claim for Damages filed by Pathway Law Firm on behalf of Jose Barrera. 2.a.Consider authorizing the Chairman to sign a letter of opposition for Assembly Bill 2489 that governs local government processes for contracting and utilization of temporary staff to provide specialty services; b.Authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of opposition for Assembly Bill 2557 that requires special reporting and auditing for contractors, including temporary staff, providing specialty services; c.Authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of opposition for Assembly Bill 2561 that requires public agencies with a certain vacancy rate to meet and confer with employee organizations and develop and publish a comprehensive plan to reduce said vacancy rate.
