CONSENT CALENDAR A.Behavioral Health Department: 1.Consider approving the Agreement with Kings Partnership for Prevention to provide prevention outreach and engagement services retroactively effective from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2024. 2.Consider approving the Agreement with Kings View to provide Warm-Line Services retroactively effective from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025. 3.Consider authorizing the Purchasing Manager to sign purchase orders from Cal Bennetts to furnish the Behavioral Health area of the new building. B.Human Services Agency: 1.Consider authorizing the Purchasing Manager to sign purchase orders from Cal Bennetts to furnish the Human Services Agency area of the new building. 2.Consider approving an Agreement with Plexus Global Limited-Liability Company for the provision of drug testing services for parents of families receiving child welfare services, effective from November 29, 2022 through November 30, 2023. C.Probation Department: 1.Consider approving an Agreement with The Counseling and Psychotherapy Center, Inc. to provide treatment services for sex offenders within Kings County, retroactively effective from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. D.Public Health Department: 1.Consider appointing Jennifer Sheldon as a new member to a two-year term as indicated in the Kings County Ambulance Commission By-Laws. 2.a.Consider approving the Agreement with the Kettleman City Foundation for the needed repairs to their facility; b.Adopt the budget change. B.Fire Department – William Lynch 1.Consider approving the retroactive Automatic - Mutual Aid Agreement with the Corcoran State Prison for the areas designated. E.Public Health Department – Rose Mary Rahn/Heather Silva 1.Consider adopting the Resolution proclaiming the month of November 2022 as Pulmonary Hypertension Month. 2.Consider receiving an update on the local emergency in Kings County due to the imminent and proximate threat of exposure of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases on the residents of the County of Kings and take action as deemed necessary. F.Administration – Edward Hill Kings County Office of Education - Genevieve Almanzar 1.Consider accepting the 2022-2023 Final Williams Report, the “State of the Schools” annual report, for Kings County. G.Administration – Edward Hill/Matthew Boyett 1.Consider approving the appointment of Julieta Martinez to the Economic and Workforce Development Director effective November 28, 2022 and set the compensation. 2.Consider introducing and waiving the first reading of the ordinance dissolving the Kings County Water Commission and creating the Kings County Water Resources Oversight Commission to address matters related to water use in the County’s jurisdiction.
