Consider approving the amended Agreement with Inspiring Pathways, Incorporated to provide Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program services retroactively effective July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. B. District Attorney’s Office: 1. a. Consider approving the District Attorney’s Office to accept grant funds for Fiscal Year 2023-24 from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 for the Child Advocacy Center Program. b. Authorize the District Attorney to sign grant application forms; c. Authorize the District Attorney to sign grant subaward amendments in addition to grant subaward documents; d. Approve the Certification of Assurance of Compliance form. 2. a. Consider authorizing the purchase of one Glock model 45 MOS, 9mm, by the Kings County Deputy Sheriff’s Association for the replacement cost of $537; b. Authorize the District Attorney’s Office to purchase one Glock model 45 MOS, 9mm, to restore appropriate inventory. C. Child Support Services 1. Consider approving the Intra-County Plan of Cooperation between Kings County Child Support Services and Kings County Information Technology Department. D. Public Health Department: 1. a. Consider approving the Agreement with Thomas Buford, Pharmacist, to continue providing pharmacist services for the Health Department; b. Approve the Agreement with Hanumandla Reddy, Cardiologist, to continue providing electrocardiogram services for the Health Department; c. Approve the Agreement with Beverly Radiology Medical Group doing business as Hanford Advanced Imaging Center to continue providing x-ray services for the Department of Public Health. 2. a. Consider approving Amendment 2 to Purchasing Services Agreement No. 004-2022 with Valley Voices for COVID-19 education and prevention services retroactively effective from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. b. Authorize the Director of Public Health to amend the Agreement for non-substantiative changes and non-financial contractual changes without requiring further board approval. E. Probation Department: 1. Consider approving the Agreement with Champions Recovery Alternative Programs, Inc. to cover services retroactively effective from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. F. Sheriff’s Office: 1. Consider adopting a Resolution authorizing the participation in the Boating Safety and Enforcement Financial Aid Program. V. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS A. Department of Finance – James Erb/Rob Knudson 1. Consider adopting an Ordinance establishing the booking fee rate for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 and waive the reading of the Ordinance. B. Fire Department – William Lynch/Aaron Parreira 1. a. Consider authorizing the purchase of six new handguns, holsters, and spare magazines; b. Authorize the Fire Department to resell the current handgun inventory through a licensed firearm dealer either to the dealer or to the employee assigned to the weapon. 2. Consider approving the Agreement with Okie’s Towing and Truck Repair for Fire Department Fleet Maintenance and Repair retroactively effective from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2027. C. Human Resources Department – Carolyn Leist/Anthony Valdez 1. Consider approving the new job classification for Assistant Assessor/Clerk/Recorder and set the salary Range at 257.0 ($7,757 - $9,464 monthly). D. Public Works Department – Dominic Tyburski/Mitchel Cabrera 1. Consider authorizing the Public Works director to sign the Agreement with Mark Thomas, Inc. to prepare the County’s Roadway Safety Sign Audit Report. 2. Consider approving the Notice of Completion (NOC) for the Senate Bill-1 Fiscal Year 2020-21 Funded Kings County Roadway Improvement Project to provide notice to interested parties that the work has been completed. E. Administration – Edward Hill/Kyria Martinez 1. Consider approving the appointment of James Erb to the position of Director of Finance effective July 11, 2022 and set the compensation. 2. Consider authorizing the use of American Rescue Plan Act funding in the amount of $2,440,274 for projects recommended by the ARPA Committee. F. Public Health Department – Rose Mary Rahn 1. Consider adjusting the frequency of the update provided by the Kings County Department of Public Health regarding the COVID-19 local emergency in Kings County to either; bi-weekly, once per month, or as needed via Health Alert during public comment period and take action as deemed necessary.
