Consider approving the Cooperative Agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture for the County’s Glassy-winged Sharpshooter Program effective July 1, 2022 through June 20, 2024. B. Public Health Department: 1. a. Consider authorizing the Director of Public Health to sign the County Medical Services Program Governing Board Local Indigent Care Needs Planning Project Grant Program Agreement retroactively in effect from February 1, 2022 to April 17, 2023; and b. Adopt the budget change. (4/5 vote required) 2. a. Consider approving the purchase of four MoonBeam disinfection devices from Inland Supply Company; and b. Adopt the budget change. (4/5 vote required) C. Public Works Department: 1. a. Consider authorizing the financing of a Pruning Tower through Community Leasing Partners; and b. Consider approving the Kings County Behavioral Health Department to accept the grant funding under the Mental Health Student Services Act; and b. Authorize the Director of Behavioral Health to accept and sign the grant Agreement, including any future amendments, or additional grant documentation. c. Adopt the budget change. Consider approving the outreach and education funding by the California Secretary of State under Agreement 21S10100 in the amount of $30,000. D. Consider adopting a Resolution authorizing the installation of a multi-way (all-way) stop at the intersection of 18th Avenue and Kansas Avenue; and b. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the installation of a multi-way (all-way) stop at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Front Street. E. Administration – Edward Hill 1. a. Consider adopting a Resolution proclaiming May 2 – May 6, 2022 as Public Service Recognition Week and declaring the Kings County Annual Employee Recognition Barbecue as a Tobacco-Free event; and b. Authorize the Chairman to sign letters of thanks on behalf of the Board to California Public Finance Authority, Kings Federal Credit Union, and other organizations for their contributions during the event.
